WPBC 2018 AGM

Notice is hereby given for the
West Pymble Bicentennial Club’s 2018 Annual General Meeting.
The AGM will be held on Sunday 11th November at 10 am in the Clubhouse,
located at 2 Prince of Wales Drive, West Pymble.

 

BUSINESS
The business of the Annual General Meeting shall be as follows:
  • Apologies
  • To confirm the Minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting;
  • To receive and consider the reports referred to in Rule 102 of the Constitution;
  • To conduct the election of the Board;
  • To elect up to 2 nominated Life Members
  • To appoint an Auditor or Auditors in the event that there be a vacancy in the office of Auditor;
  • To appoint an honorary legal advisor;
  • To approve the reimbursement of Directors’ expenses and the payment of honorariums (if any);
  • To deal with any other business of which due notice has been given to the members.

Nomination for the Board of Directors is now open. To nominate please download and complete the nomination / statutory declaration form. Forms can also be obtained from the Bar at the Clubhouse.

Nominations close with the Secretary on Sunday 28th October 2018, 5 pm.
Completed nomination forms and statutory declarations can be returned in the following ways:

Hand delivered or posted to
2 Prince of Wales Drive, West Pymble NSW 2073 for the attention of the Secretary, or

Emailed to
admin@wpbc.com.au.

You will receive confirmation of receipt of your nomination form from the Secretary. However, it is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that the nomination form has been received by the Club.

Friday & Saturday Meat Raffles

This weekend (August 10th & 11th) we will be donating all profits from our meat raffles. Come down and buy a ticket for the chance to win and raise some money for our farmers – tickets are as little as $5. Let’s make this a mega meat raffle.

Parma for a Farmer

Our Kookaburra Bistro (thanks to Pinnacle Catering) will be donating $1 for every Parma purchased on Friday & Saturday night (August 10th & 11th). Enjoy a chicken parmigiana, along with the meat raffle, knowing that it’s going to a great cause. Bistro opens from 5.30pm both nights.

Guess the lolly jar competition

Get the kids involved (and the big kids). There will be a lolly jar competition located at the front entry of the Club – guess how many treats are inside for a gold coin donation. Exact number, or closest to, takes home the jar! T & C’s at the Club.

Donate at the Club

There will be donation boxes located at the Club which you can pop your loose change. They will be available at the front entry and bar. Every cent counts towards helping our farmers.
